Topic: CR750 seat in aluminum

Hi all,

Thanks a lot for a great site. This is my first post as I’ve just bought a CB750F1, which I’m about to turn in to a café racer.

I’m interested in fitting a CR750 seat but can only find one in fiberglass (e.g. as those airtech and Bartel provides). However I’m interested in acquiring a CR750 "works" style seat in aluminum (similar to the one used by Carpy at http://cb750cafe.com/bikes.php?cat=1&id=21).

Do any of you know where to find such seat in aluminum? Anyone who can make it?

I've asked this question in other forums as well but have had no luck

Any help appreciated.

Now that's a fast reply - thanks a lot :-)

The seat is not what I'm looking after but I'll try to contact roc city to hear whether they can make something CR-like in alloy for me.
