Steve,
It's been quiet all weekend, I can only assume everwhere else in the world has had good riding weather, unlike here in the UK! I have not been able to go out on the bike for 3 days and I am going stir crazy. Looks like I can go for a ride today though as the sun is shining, hooray!
Jim.,

Not in the mid-west, U.S. Great riding weather came to a screeching halt over the weekend. Very high winds yesterday, gusts up to 60 mph. Trees and foliage all of a sudden have the barren, winter look  >:(, the winds stripped just about all the remaining leaves from the trees.
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

Bob,
That makes me feel better, your weather sounds just like ours!
I hate those west coasters that can ride all year round! when I lived just outside SF, I never owned a bike, what a fool!!
Jim.

Riot on Duster! Down here in the Asheville area the temps have been in the 70s, the mountain leaves are in top form. Went riding Sat, Sun, and I'm taking today off too. This is the best it's been all year.

In Portland Oregon it has been raining non stop for about 2 weeks and down right chilly except yesterday had a few sun breaks and the pavement dried up so I set out for my very first ride ever damn that was a lot of fun. Until I get my very bald rear tire replaced I won't go out on the wet roads.       BAHH!
I farted and made my son cry.

Duster- that's hilarious! I use that expression too. It's sort of a take-off of what Tom Terrific used to say; "Sheeee-cago Illinois".

MrBlasty- am I getting this right? You have 100 posts and you never until now went for a motorcycle ride?

The proverbial one armed paper hanger. Great moments of activity followed by short bursts of downtime.
