This is what I am starting with. I am going to try and do a restore/customize rebuild. I love cafe bikes but this bike is so nice in its original form. So I am going to build it with the ability to go between the two.

Decided to start with the forks.

Well I am kinda jumping forward. I cleaned the forks, installed drag bar, and painted a bunch of stuff. I was planning on doing a bunch of polishing but I really wanted to go riding. Needless to say I sanded and painted and sanded and painted and clear coat and sanded. I still need to do some buffing on the paint. Plans are to install braided lines and redo forks and replace shocks this winter.
Anyway let me know what you think so far,
