Colour (color) TV was introduced in the UK in time for the Mexico World Cup in June 1970 (Brasil won).

I can remember the thrill of watching a football (soccer) match (game) on the box (TV) and being able to tell the difference between the teams!

Reminds me of John Motson's immortal line "for those of you watching in black and white, Spurs are playing in the all yellow strip"

Well, I must admit that I remember my parent's B&W TV. Being made with vacuum tubes it needed a couple of minutes to warm up. I remember the broadcast simply stopped at bedtime, and then there was nothing!!!! Only what they called "snow".

And that little white dot that took ages to die away.

My parents' B&W TV was a monster and had its own mahogany cabinet with a sliding door that you could pull across when there were no TV broadcasts (which was most of the time)

We had Dr Who though.

So what started out as a thread on overwintering, has travelled via nipples and is now a beauty contest...

and now B&W TV and Colemanballs.

Ha ha, I dunno why Raul, but i'm thinking of that old Cheech and Chong movie "Up in Smoke", ha ha! "Dave's not home, Man!" Cheers, Terry. ;D

Hey Terry, was that the one with:
Cheech: What is in this #$%*, man? Man: Mostly Maui-waui, man... Cheech: Yeah? Man: ... but it's got some labrador in it. Cheech: What's labrador? Man: It's dog #$%*, man. Cheech: What! Man: Yeah, my dog ate my stash, man. Had it on the table and the little motherf*cker ate it. It really blew the dog's mind, man. Cheech: You mean we're smoking dog #$%*, man?

That's it Harry, I've still got the soundtrack somewhere, they were great movies, weren't they? Cheers, "Burt Reynolds, Man"  ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

These wonderful little birds are great flyers, delicious eating, excellent for training your hunting dog, and just fun to shoot,or stuff and keep around the house.  Bobwhites can be put with other types of Quail and have very large penis's.  Quail are very popular with the babes.

Ok I am going to start a thread for this.  Lets see 1860 members.  50% have to ask thier wife's or mother's so that will be an excuse for them. 25% do not have a digital photo ( I will offer to scan and return one if mailed to me) so that leaves the 15% that don't have any balls (sorry Linda) they won't post eather.   so we should get 10% or 187 photos.  You know the fact is 99% of us are fat, old and or ugly.  If this is the base line why not post a photo?  What if your good looking our women are going to pack it out and leave us because your so damn handsome!  Most of us are not so lucky.  If I met you on the street would you hide your face?  When I see an antique motorcycle stop at a light I figure the person is 45+, 200+ lbs, Balding and a bit weatherbeaten.  Hell we have worked for 30+ years, Had kids that were or are worse that ourselfs.  We have the right to look a bit worn.  What I am saying is POST A PHOTO YOU FAT UGLY BASTARDS!
