Hello from Oklahoma

I am happy I found this site. I'm Ron Hanes known as Keltic Cherokee.
I have a Cb750 Project bike i'm working on.

It sat in a guys yard since 1997. I just bought it from him and have disassembled it and am currently starting a frame -up restoration. Most of the job is going to be cosmetic.

I am also needing advice on getting the engine un stuck..I have the engine out and am currently putting marvel mystery oil in the cylinders in an attempt to loosen things up a bit. While waiting to buy a shop manual for this bike

will post pics soon and would love to get advice etc so feel free to email me or come by the house , coffee's always on

Welcome. Keltic as in Cherokee with a Scottish tint? I am distant Irish Cherokee myself.

As to your engine, many threads here on stuck engines. The search feature is a little clunky but we encourage its use.

As far as penetrant, it has been scientifically determined that a 50/50 solution of Acetone and ATF is the best penetrant. Try soaking those rusted up rings in that.
