Exhaust Recommendations
« on: June 03, 2009, 09:17:55 AM »
I'm looking for new muffler/silencers for a 70 CB350 and was wondering what people think about the after markets that they've used. I've looked through the forum and heard mixed thoughts on after market pipes (not specifically for 350 twins).

Thanks in advance.

If you don't want to spend a ton of money, try the Emgo RoadHawks,
Quieter than Dunstalls, good look, stone cold bolt-up, about $50 each.
They're on this bike - check the "Finished Project" photos.

I get them at http://www.crc2onlinecatalog.com/Index_Main_Frame.htm - they also have Dunstalls.

If money's no object, I'm pretty sure Mac still makes 350 mufflers, 2-into-ones, as I recall. Probably $300 at least, includes new exhaust pipes.
Then there are all the exotic road-racer pipes, big bucks.

I'll sell you my Mac 2-1 set. Its installed, but never used. I don't like the design. It exits  on the left and its kind of bulky.

Thanks for the offer CBGBs but I'm just looking for the mufflers. I like the dual pipes plus, the headers are in great shape. Those Roadhawks might do the job. Any body have experience with other exhaust for these bikes?

Well then, here you go. These are like the roadhawks but look more like the original.
