Ya know what, I was running my bike without a front fender and noticed a ton of instability in the fork.  It was going to require too much work to create a proper braket, so I reinstalled the front fender any I think it looks better.  Plus, I get many more complements.  Something to think about.  It is also much safer that way if a rock should kick up into your mug.

I got a rock in my "mug" last night.
Actually it was more like my chin than my face.
You get used to it after while - and it doesnt happen all too often.

Hm...my 650 doesnt have a brace it just has the metal fender...which is massively rusted on the underside and is starting to show through the chrome top side....and ideas if those type of braces would fit the 82 650? suppose I would have to measure it...

if yer talking about an aftermarket brace - racing type - well, i can't help with the 650 but the 750s are 35mm fork tubes.
