Topic: CB750 K8 side panel badges

Hi All,

Have recently picked up a K8 and am wondering if the side panel badges are correct? (See pic) I though those badges were used on the DOHC model. Also, was blue a standard colour as I have read that the K8 colours were black or red?

Nope, those dont look like the stock badges.

The badges are wrong, the decals on the side covers are missing, and the seat is wrong. The side covers are aftermarket bolt ons not OEM. Having said that it is a nice looking bike and has a lot of potential with some elbow grease.

Yes, the seat is one of those horrible plastic aftermarket ones - replacement is on the shopping list. Was wondering about the front mudguard too as it doesn't have any stays on it (from an F model?).
Thanks for the compliment :-) first job is to get it running properly as it was only firing on the two left hand cylinders. Blackened downpipes hinted that it had been running rich, carbs are off for a clean out and the float levels were way too high, points were shot and there was no air filter!
Any suggestions as to which is the correct version of the 750Four badge please?
