Just a quick intro -  Been around bikes for 40 years, mostly Nortons, BMWs, Ducatis, and Moto Guzzis. I once had a 1980 750F for two years - bought new from Dave Mungenast, but I've preferred the grunt of a twin & never bothered since - until last Saturday.

Made a sweet deal on a 1977 750F2. It needs a bit of cosmetic work and the calipers gone through (sticky), but it is 95% original & runs pretty good. Came with a parts bike which I believe is also an F2. Should be lots of spares available to the group if anyone would be interested. Making arrangements to pick both up later this week.

Looking forward to finding out the best sources for OEM parts, tips, and tricks for these machines. Thanks for the opportunity!

Welcome Joe,
This is the place for info on these bikes- look in the faq section lots of info there.
Any technical questions post them in the sohc bikes section- lots of knowledge there too.
Good luck on the finds and rebuilds!
