GIBSON ...noone has told me why aluminum billet mirrors are bad. it's not obvious to me why they would be...  ???

Because they're too pretty? 
I'm coming to the conclusion that bar-end mirrors just don't look right on clubman bars.

 :D ha-ha! if there's anything pretty on my bike when i'm done with it then i've failed to make it mean enough! I guarantee any prettiness will be overshadowed by the snarling black meanness of my ride...  >:(8) ;)

Lesson learned.  I went back to the drag bars. Now the mirrors look right and I can comfortably ride all day.

If I did it right, heres sum pix of my current favorites. Not as benificial as the long arm style, but the style is worth it to me.
