I have a '77 CB750F. My bike was hit and the shop is letting me get the parts 'cause I can get them cheaper. I see that cycle exchange has the tubes with boots and seals for $115 less than the shop was going to charge me. I only need to know what length to get. I'm planning on getting progressive springs thrown in while I'm at it.
Also, Cyclexchange has a lowering kit with shorter tubes and shorter shocks for $200. Has anyone used that kit and did you have to do any modifications besides shortening the springs?
