thanks, the oil cap fits perfect it has been measured/ modded to fit perfectly under my gas tank with a 1/4 inch of clearance, had to grind it down a bit on the edges but its good...my motor is going to be stock except jetted carbs with filter cones and 4-1 exhaust...

just welded on an sr500 kickstand, further back than the original one since the sr500 stand looked sleaker..pics coming soon...as well as my clip-ons im currently making from stainless steel...

decided to cap and smooth the frame where i chopped it and also showing a pick of the sr500 kickstand mount i welded on....enjoy

thanks yea im fortunate enough to have a shop for the time being, heres some pics of the clipons im attempting out of stainless steel, just need to finish the clamp on the back but they are turning out nice, decided on 12 degrees of downward slope, felt most natural and they are about 11 inches long total..

thanks for all the love, i am excited to get the clipons done, at first i wanted to leave them stainless, but during the welding they got kinda discolored so I will probably paint them black like the rest of the bike....the whole bike will be black with flat, satin and gloss finishes...the bars will probably be gloss black...stay tuned for more pics coming soon of the finished clipons and custom rear shockmounts im currently making for my super low 10.5" rear shocks...

Just got done with the clipons and primed em black...pretty excited...time to finish my rear shock mounts and paint the frame...yee haw

So im going to be making my seat soon but decided to post the seat I upholstered for my partners bike...I wanted to get a test run on his bike before I did mine...kinda grateful my mom taught me how to sew when I was younger haha never thought it would come in handy....heres some pics of the vinyl, quilting foam, dense close cell foam fiberglass seat pan sewn and riveted.....enjoy...next will be the same seat in leather on my cb with a few changes.....oh the threading is spaced 1.5" apart on each row...same as most of the cool cafe bikes i like.....

Just made the seat today, decided to use a dark brown leather instead of vinyl...very excited how it turned out..used 3 layers of fiberglass cloth on the pan, two layers of closed cell foam, quilting foam, 3m spray glue, polyester thread, rivet gun with aluminum rivets for light weight with alum washers and my trusty singer sewing machine...getting better at making the quilting lines straight...not too bad for my second try, let me know what u think...enjoy ps ive been molding fiberglass parts, seats and other stuff for different bikes so if you need a part replicated just hit me up for a price....I have the airtech c4 seat and have recreated it perfectly and sell them for 100 bux and the upholstery pan for 25...its basically the same seat in my previous pictures, which i also made from my mold..pm me for details...thanks
