Did I ever complain about the high price of bikes in Denmark due to exorbitant taxes? Well, have a look at this 40000km bike   100000 Danish Kroner is more than 15 thousand US dollars. The case for the defence rests

earlier this week, i bid on a 1977 kz1000 on ebay.  the bike is located near toronto canada.  one of the other bidders was located in denmark.  go figure 

is it cheaper to transport an old bike half way round the world, than buy locally?

i guess the welfare state doesn't come cheap:

That is a sweet lookin' Z bike!!! The one I had would have made a good donor.All the chrome cases,etc.
