lord have mercy,i would love to find some of them millions of 750`s that are out there

Well dd, there may not be that many out and about anymore, but I'll bet there's one in every second or third garage, tarped over for the last 25-30 years or so. These were an extremely popular bike and Honda sold a ton of 'em. Someone has to have production figures for them somewhere.
The numbers I have heard are 400,000 units for the 10 year run and a single year max of 60,000. So they are still out there in numbers. You gotta locate them. And once you find one or so, they seem to rain on you. I now have 3 other leads to check out.

That's it mate, give them Bushes a beating for me, particularly that one with the big ears! Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Several people have been asking, so an update is in order.

The fellow in Ontario that is to go stateside has been side and then had his truck go pow on him.
Here's an exerpt for him today...

"Hi Mike, well I should be going down there soon. I'm working a long stretch right now and the next 2 w/e's so it looks like i'll go down on Feb 6th to pick up your stuff."[/color]

So as soon as I get it from him the K2's Candy Gold will be sprayed first, then the Sunrise Orange for the K5/3. And I will post pictures. A long time in the making on this one. ;D

Update - the two kits are finally in my hands!! I got a Candy Gold and a Flake Sunrise Orange from Don. These have got to be the absolute most complete paint kits on the planet bar none. 4 mixing jars, 4 stir sticks, a tack cloth, a bottle of gun cleaner, and what appears to be enough primer/base/clear to easily do the parts. I'll have to snap off a shot of the Orange kit. I dropped off the gold kit to the painter last night. so however long it takes him to do these. I think there are a few cars ahead of me.
But the sheer completeness of the kit is quite amazing to say the least!

When you see the results, maybe you'd like to post in the "Buyer/Seller Feedback" forum.

Possible to get an idea on cost?

Gordon is right there with Don's eBay account. I paid $104 for each and that included shipping. Considering I paid $160 or so for the last gold I bought and had applied, Don's is a deal. But price is a distant second as long as the color is correct.

Finally!!!!!! I picked up the tank and sidecases last night! And I'm going to have to make  you wait until tonight for pictures as my daughter took the camera.
But, time and money well spent. The 4 or so month ordeal was worth the trip. Don's paint is a perfect match for the original color and it changes with light intensity just as the original. 100% satisfied with the result.
I can't wait to get the Flake Orange on the K3 set.
I will get pictures up tonight.

Don - a thousand thank yous and hats off for a superb product.

Okay, here are some of the sidecases. I tried to vary the light a bit to see if I could get the color to change- don't think I was too successful. I used the only set of stripes I had on the last mustard attempt so the tank is bare. I'll snap shots of it when the new stripes arrive. They are en route.

And yes I do have the red wing emblems for 2 reasons - contrast with the gold and more to the point, they were the only new ones I could find. I'd like the get orange ones for the flake orange, but can't find them new - anyone?

I'm glad to hear that Don's paint turned out well as I'm going to order the
candy ruby red to redo the sandcast.  I need to check with my painter as he
is picky what he uses, but he should be OK with it.

The panels do look great though.. :)

Nice!
When my buddy gets back from Ramallah, Iraq, he is going to repaint my
Candy Orange cb750 as the paint totally faded to white this past year.

Might as well have it nice looking before I sell it, right?
Guess I'll be calling Don,

Just got an e-mail from Don saying the paint should be used within a month of
receipt, so I will wait to order it until all the parts are acquired.  Side panels anyone?  ;D

I think Don's being a little over-cautious mate, I've used 3 year old candy base and translucent color in both acrylic laquer and 2 pack with no problems, as long as the container is sealed you should be ok. Cheers, Terry. ;D
