i went for a long ride with brother in law warm day anyhoo after about 40lm and 1 hour of runing the bike starts to stumble bog down as though misfiring anything in particular i should check has new regulator and rectifier from oregon bike parts seems to charge fine could the heat of stop and go and hot weather be doing anything to it?

Check for loose spark plugs.  My 350F did that to me once.
