Hi Guys,
I just fired up my '78 550K for the first time after it's winter sleep. When I came home, I parked the bike on the driveway and after a few minutes I noticed an oil puddle about the size of a 50 cent piece.
I pulled off the left engine side cover and discovered when I run the engine oil is leaking out of the left most mounting hole of the side cover. The screw hole is left of the oil pump.
What do you think has happened and is there anyway to seal the screw threads and stop the leak?
