Needed Pic Of rear F Shock mount on frame
« on: June 13, 2009, 12:58:47 PM »
When taking the shocks off my 75 CB750F, The lh bold came out hard and the rh just snapped :o. Before I start into them I want to get a clear pic of what they are suppose to look like so I dont destroy everything.

Also I was almost sure that my old K model had the bol studs welded to the frame, is this right or am I high. :D

Thanks

Yes, they are welded to the frame.

Easy fix, is to drill and tap them and insert stud, then you can re-use the Acorn nut.

Here is a pic of what I am dealing with. The small hole in the center is a hole I drilled to try to get an easy out in. As well as the bolt that was there

So I should drill these out, tap them and then insert a stud or just use a bolt or would it matter?

Plus I wanted to thrown in a pic of my Triple tree top. I thought I did a decent job with the polish. ;D
