My visit to the Garage Company
« on: June 15, 2009, 10:53:06 AM »
I had the good luck of spotting the Garage Company (http://garagecompany.com/) on a recent trip to LA this weekend and got to meet Yoshinobu "Yoshi" Kosaka.  What an incredible shop and store.  He has a truly impressive collection of vintage motorcycles and parts ranging from a genuine Honda parts CR 750 (which I saw him run on the track at Willow Springs at the Corso Motoclassico a couple months ago), to MV Agusta's, to racing Harleys, to Ducati's, to loads of Smiths gauges, a pristine, original Rickman Kawasaki frame, H1-Rs, magnesium GP carburetors, rare books, tanks, etc.  So much cool stuff, there's boxes piled up and a load of vintage bikes in his back driveway.  Yoshi's a really nice guy, too.  If you have an hour or two and are in the Venice, CA area, I highly recommend you make a stop to check out his store.
