Best rear shocks for CB550
« on: June 15, 2009, 10:26:50 AM »
I have a pair of new cheapish Hagon shocks on my 550K3.

I weigh only 60KG / 145lbs and find them too hard so the rear end is quite bouncy. There is no adjustment of the damping either. If I have a passenger the bike handles much better with the extra weight.

Are there any really good shocks out there for the 550 with adjustable progressive springs and separately adjustable bounce and rebound?

Thanks

If you look in the FAQ section on parts, you should fine a seller for hagons. They are a good shock, good quality.
You should be able to replace the springs and be good.

IKONS but they are expensive, I went for the KONI version off ebay for a tenner and they work great, I'm about the same weight ;D
