this woman needs to be skinned. NO excuse for doing this to a poor defenseless damn puppy. i know how i'd feel if someone did this to one of my babies.

Truly twisted she really does deserve a good beating!!

Having said that (and really not trying to make light of a sick situation) why the hell would she shoot it 10 times and then want to skin it for a belt??? Wouldn't the "hide" be ruined anyways?

I don't get it but obviously not at the heart of the matter.

I Don't Understand.....

..... how people get sooooooo off center twisted. No matter what they may try to say, I believe they have basic ideas of right and wrong, but they think they can just get away with what they want to do, without any consequences.

It's not that they might regret what they do....... they regret getting caught.

Why didn't the parents of these types of whack jobs do something right to get them straightened out when the parents still had them in their house?

I have two cats. One has amazingly soft fur. I'm planning for when she kicks the bucket of skinning her and keeping her around. Am I twisted? Only slightly? Full bore? I can't tell.
The puppy killer #$%* needs to get her ass whooped something fierce. I know that things are different in Oklahoma but that's sick.

Yep, completely. Having said that, my big fat black cat, Chopper, will make an excellent toilet seat cover in a few years when he "leaves his mortal coil", and if I leave his head on, my wife will have a useful handle to lower the seat with!

Seriously though, I didn't read the article, I only find that sort of thing distressing, and I don't need to be reminded of what evil lurks within the human mind. Anyway, on a lighter note, it's Saturday here, so I'm off to shoot some Deer! Cheers, Terry.

When they do the psy test they will find that these people don't really have a brain. mostly pea sized object that lets them function without being able to think. every day that goes by i see more and more cases for forced castration/hysterectomy. gene pool sterilization is needed.

a while ago someone put the idea into my head that as i brushed hamish, i could save the hair and have it spun into yard then i could make some article of clothing with it (yeah i knit and crotchet wanna fight about it?) i actually have a big trash bag full of hamish hair. i suppose one day i'll get it spun into yarn. but my kids all get cremated and when my time comes i want my ashes mixed with theirs and have them spread someplace appropiate.

While this is in no way a defensible act why is this person anymore sick and twisted than someone who shoots a bear and makes a rug out of it? Or trapping animals for their fur for hats and coats. How about that deer head hanging on the wall? How about the leather jackets, boots, and gloves many of us wear? All this moral outrage has a touch of hypocrisy about it as most of us take part in a system that uses and abuses animals. What, is it only the cute ones that are off limits?

Yes, I find the cute ones to be not as tasty or comfortable to wear.

There is a difference between domesticated animals and wild animals. Killing somebody's pet is different then hunting a deer, bore, bear, etc. Unless the domesticated animal is bread specifically for product such as steer, cow, pig, etc. Which are killed humainly there are still people that make them "pets" However Its against the law to maim and torture an animal PERIOD. I don't agree with people purposely killing other people's pets. Maybe thats just me though

i hunt and i have NO problem with leather goods. i DO have a problem with trophy hunting, trapping just for fur too. wont wont kill anything i'm not going to eat. hell i even got a couple of hundred pounds of moose back in 88 when i killed one with a subaru.

I have eaten deer, rabbit, elk (or moose... I don't remember), and even... squirrel... wild game is good eats. Make stock out of the bones and tan the hide for stuff.

lots of gator farms. especially in the tampa area it seemed. i lived just down the road from one in plant city. on knights griffin rd as i remember.
