Well, Crys and I have been invited to a fundraiser ride and BBQ in Saint John this Saturday for the Animal Rescue League.  Now this is about 2 1/2 hours from our home, it should be quite a trip if the weather holds.  We have been just puttering around every night for 45 min to an hour, so hopefully the saddle sores wont be too bad.  The main group of riders are from the "Riders of Antique Motorcycles, Saint John"  The guy that invited us has a nice Noton.  Will post some pics when we get back.

Update
Looks like it will be a interesting ride today, rain, rain and more rain.  Need to go out and pop the tank off to double check my electrics are water proof.  Would be a lot drier on the GL1100 but I'm waiting on rings and bearings before I can start to put Samson back together.

Well, had all kinds of sun shine, only in liquid form.  Total of over 6 hours of saddle time, in the rain.

Still all in all it was a good time.

Will try to get the bike pics up soon.  Crys and I need to get some hot liquids into us.

Still working on the pics.  Just though I would share some reminders with every one.  Rain, stoplights, and bikes can be SLIPPERY!!! I am approaching a green and it turns yellow, I touch the brakes and slid sideways into the intersection.  Nothing I could do but twist the grip.  Green, yellow, and then as I passed the centre of the intersection it was red.  I just glad the cagers where watching, would not have been a pretty sight.
Also when riding in the rain, watch out for deep wheel tracks that are full of water.  Hydroplaning on two wheels is NOT fun.
Ride safe

Here are some picks of the bikes that showed up in the rain.  Most of these are BIG and I just haven't had time to resize them yet.
