Where can I find Replacement Carb.....
« on: November 12, 2005, 12:20:21 PM »
Linkage Seals? I've looked at the Online Microfiche but they don't have them Listed.I'm down to Taking the Rack Apart on my 78 750F and soaking them in Berrymans Chemdip.Well I Overlooked the Seals round the Top Linkage :-[ After Looking at the Other carbs it looks like they were almost Shot anyway.I've contacted Sirius Consolidated where I ordered the Diaphram and Bowl Gaskets a While back.I would Kind of like to Price them from Honda.Does anybody have a Part Number?

OK since none of you Guys are any Help. ;) I took the Carbs to the Local Auto parts Store.Luckily they had What I needed in the Airconditioner Oring Assortment Box. ;D ;D ;D I had to try a Couple of Different Sizes before I found the right one.If anyone else needs the Number let me know.Seems like they were for a Hitachi Air Conditioning System.

Howdy Ed.I sure would Appreciate that List if you find it.Don't be in any big Hurry to get it to me.Just when Ever you find it.I think it's going to take a While to get it Back into shape anyway. It's Kinda Rough for a 11,000 Original Mile Bike.So far I've completely gone thru the Brakes. >:(  It just started as a Pad replacement. Now I'm Honing the Bores and Looking for Stainless Pistons.I guess they'll get a new coat of Paint too. ;)

Hey Jughead...Does this help you out?  http://www.sohc4.us/forums/index.php?topic=5336.msg42717

Seems like I posted the entire thread rather than the post I wanted. Here's the info I was directing you to.

If anyone's interested the Honda part number for the '77-'78 750K/F carburetor "Gasket Set" is 16010-405-004. Good for one carb and includes...

1-carburetor cap gasket
1-pilot screw o-ring
1-accelerator pump o-ring
1-float bowl gasket
2-fuel tube o-rings
1-float bowl drain screw o-ring

If you do all four carbs there will be 3 accelerator pump o-rings and 2 fuel tube o-rings left over. I bought these a couple of years ago at the local stealership and paid around $23 each. I no longer do business with them but that's a different story. I'd look for them somewhere like servicehonda if I was buying again.
