I need a mechanic in Chicagoland

Hey guys,

I just bought a 1974 cb550 and am not comfortable working on certain parts of the bike ... like the brakes.  Does anyone know of a cb specialist in the Chicagoland area?  I don't want to take it to a Honda dealer because of the cost, but it beats me muffing up the job.  Any help would be appreciated.

i live near Elgin, which is a north west suburb of Chicago.  I'll pretty much travel anywhere in the Chicago area.  Where are you at?

I would trust someone from the forum as much, if not more, than any local shop. KaneCounty motorsports on Larkin did some vintage work for me five years ago; But I think the name has changed, so who knows. If you need any help let me know. I am a 1\2 hr south of you.
