Rhinebeck, NY 6/12-14
« on: April 15, 2009, 05:18:15 AM »
Anybody thinking about going to Rhinebeck this year?  I wanted to go the last couple years but this year I'm gonna make it happen.  My girlfriend is a printmaker and she's thinking about selling prints of vintage bikes so look for us and our green honda!

Lots of great stuff to look at, I can't wait!  Plus the Hudson River Valley is a lovely area and I bet there are some great places to ride around there.
Hope to see you there!

I live about 60 miles south of there. I may take a ride up. Very lovely riding up that way. my

Just bringing this one back to the top since it's two weeks away.

I'm going up on Saturday are you going to be there both days? If so I'll definitely look for your green honda, interested in looking at the prints.

Keeping my fingers crossed for good weather!!!

Hey, I sure wish I could go there since not only will there be lots and lots of bikes, but you can go over to the aerodrome and see a lot of great old ww1 era airplanes too. Now on the subject of the prints, why don't you take some nice pics of the prints and post them on the classifieds section of this forum and you may find a lot of sales right there. Some of us that can't make it to the party could still have a beer at home.

Well we had a great time at the meet!  Saw loads of awesome bikes and met some great people. Even a forum member or two!  The show was great, but I had more fun walking around the swap meet looking at old basket case bikes.  There actually were some great deals at this place and it was fun to imagine what bike I would actually bring home if I could!

Someone suggested posting the woodblock prints we were selling so I've got a link to Julianne's store where you can see them:

Unfortunately there's only one SOHC4 in the mix.  We tried to do a wide range of bikes to appeal to as many people as possible.  We had never been to this kind of event before so we didn't know just what to expect, but people seemed to like the prints.
The etsy store is up and running so if you like any of them, go ahead and buy one!

I was going, but I burned out a wheel bearing the week before. I am pissed.
