My bike (76 CB750) drains gas after I park it in the garage over night.
Is that a sign of overflow?

Leaky petcock when 'off '.... assuming you are in the habit of turning it off, even if only parking your bike for 5 mins., right ?
A slowly leaking petcock will 'override' the float needles and overfill the carb bowls  ;)
