This might be a little crazy but I really like the badges on the tank. Gives it kind of a sixties Honda look.

Thanks for the compliments fellas, couldn't have done it with out this site.
Now that I've ridden around for a week or so now, I've determined that I'm need to add some blinkers....
Anybody have any suggestions for a smaller type blinker - maybe about 1-1.5" diameter that still has a "vintage" look to them ?
I've found a bunch of bullet style lamps, but I think I'd rather have something that in more round - similar to the originals, but not so huge.
Any ideas ?

Haven't ever seen those... I'm narrowing it down - who knew there were so many frickin' choices.

That bike's the perfect mix of original and custom. Looks great.

You mentioned turn signals. I have the bullet ones, you can see them in my pics in my signature. I'm happy with them, but then again, you said you're leaning toward some that are more round.

One last thing, in the second video I was disappointed to see you wearing shorts - I expected you to be wearing greenjeans.

I got them from http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/. I think that's where I got my headlight visor too.

A few answers:

The drum is off a 69 CB450 (very little mods needed at all - used axle from the 750 and just had to file down a spacer to center it)

The fork boots are actually generic boots for motocross bikes.

In Texas, the antique plates are on vehicles 25 years and older

And CBghia, the wiring was finally traced to a wire in the headlight bucket that I had forgotten about.

I'm getting more comfortable on the Firestones - just a different feel. Doesn't really encourage scraping the pegs...I think I've just really got them
worn in enought to grip & not slide. They don't wander as much as I initially thought and actually track better than I thought. About the only real
benefit, besides "looking cool" is the extra air volume - very comfy bike to ride.

Another thing you might check if you are going to run these tires is the date on them... One of the tires was 3 months old according to the date code,
and the other, which was a bit stiffer than the other had been sitting on the shelf for over a year. If I had to order again, I'd have them check and send
me the newest ones....makes them easier to get on the rim, that's for sure.
