oldbikebarn coupon code
« on: June 24, 2009, 08:38:54 AM »
Hi all,

First post.  I just picked up a 1975 CB750K yesterday from a really cool guy that was selling it in Houston, TX, and the bike is in great running condition.

Anyways, I had to order a couple parts from oldbikebarn.com, and as usual when ordering online, I looked for any possible coupon codes.

I found a 10% discount off all parts code, so I though I'd share with the forum, since all the info has been so much help.

Just enter "SAVECASH" in the "Voucher Code" box, and it will take 10% off your order.  I just tried it (less than 5 minutes ago), and it works like a charm.

Welcome...

I have a CB750 K5 as well... Do you have pics? Where did you get the listing for this one in the Houston area? What was the end price?

For the parts - OEM/NOS - I usually try eBay, then motogrid.com or bikebandit.com whoever is the cheapest...

Beware old bikebarn. Many have had BAD luck with them. There is a post in the sellers area about them.

Old Bike Barn smells musty and gross, just like their service.

Hate them.

Z1 Enterprises and Bike Bandit are the two I use the most.

nooooo!  i ordered from the wrong place.  arg.  hopefully everything gets shipped ok.  they were a couple of smaller parts (napoleon mirror, side cover), so maybe itll be fine.

i found the listing on craigslist - the bike is in well-used condition, definitely not mint - but i wanted it as more of a weekly rider that i could count on starting.  it starts each time, and the owner maintained it very well (as evidenced by his garage).

It's cool, quick shipping for Old Bike Barn is like 2 months.....  :(

Contact them and request a delivery date. If it's too long of a wait, you should be able to cancel your order.

And welcome to the forum!

dont have pics yet, but will post when i get a chance.

its got a rat-looking flat black gas tank - which is the look i was going for anyways.  i rode it home from webster (clear lake) to inside the loop (about a 30 min ride - all highway), and it was a thrill.  im actually coming from sportbikes, but i love that this bike has a ton of character.

So I guess the Houston area SOHC members should finish up their various projects and start planning a group meeting along with their bikes!!! ;)
