« on: March 06, 2009, 07:19:09 PM »
'75 CB750F. i re-did my leaky oil lines, but like an idiot i don't remember which line from the tank goes to which fitting on the engine. my search efforts were unsuccessful.

i think it was the front line from the tank goes to the front fitting on the motor, right? or am i screwed up?

Yes, front line on tank goes to forward mount on engine. If they are stock lines and mounts then you will find that it's really really hard to get them mixed up as the rear line is not long enough to reach the front mount, and the mounts on the engine are at reverse angles so it would be really difficult to spin the line around enough to fit it to the incorrect port. Hope this helps :)

I built a custom oil tank and made the same mistake. I cut the old lines off the fittings and threw away the hoses... now I cant remember which line on the engine takes oil in and which pumps it back to the tank? :-[
