England Bound - Telford area and London
« on: June 21, 2009, 05:32:59 PM »
Well its' nearing time for me to start packing up my things for my work in England again.  I fly over and arrive in Birmingham on Monday 29th.  I'll be working/living at the MOSS house (Museum of Steel Sculpture) until August 2/3/4 (not sure when I'm gonna roll out yet.)  Its' in Shropshire, near Telford (Coalbrookdale actually) and I believe is about an hour from Birmingham.  If anyone is game for meeting up around that area, the local pub is great, otherwise we could go somewhere else (perhaps you could drive, no bike :(

Otherwise, come August 3/4/5, I'm planning on heading over to London.  I'm gonna check out the Tate, Victoria and Albert, as many galleries as possible, and possibly some schools in the area.  Last time I was hoping to meet up with CR Sam, but my work schedule prevented me from breathing, let alone hanging out with a biker junkie.  This year should be different, and I'm really looking forward to meeting a couple of you blokes.  Email is best for reaching me, but I'll check my info and post the address and phone number of the museum up on this thread.  A while back a couple chaps talked of meeting up in the London area and heading over to the Ace Cafe.  Thought that might be cool.

God, I can't wait to come back over there.

Hi Chris - I'll be in France on holiday... (sorry - go to the Ace anyway, just show up chat to people!)

I've moved this thread because this is supposed to be a place for offers of hospitality (rather than the other way round...) Sorry.

It's now in the Open Forum.

He meant pack a raincoat, English summer don't you know, all praying for some Global Warming. ;D
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!
