And it was my date of birth. Good day to be born up north here.

Got to watch Pujols hit a grand slam and a 2 run homer. And my girfriend got me the original mono pressing Chuck Berry's Golden Decade Chess recording.
Good day indeed.

Really? Mine too  :) Now if I can figure out if I'm a Cancer or Gemini? Which do you subscribe to?

Just signed the papers with the lawyer today....gave the insurance co's every chance to settle cheap, but the idiots said that it was their policy and they had to total the bike..... well, now it is going to cost them a bundle cause the pitbull lawyer says that he is going for everything and then some. Medical is already over 18k and climbing. I was going to give up most of the loss of wages and pain/suffering if they would just fix the bike....buuuttttt  NNNooooooo!
Problem is that I have no idea when I can get the bike fixed, cause I can't afford to front the $ now to fix it and then wait for the settlement. SUCKS!

I hope to ride again soon, too. I know I will be riding quite a bit more cautiously now. Do you ride as you did before? If I remember correctly, your accident was no fault of yours. Mine was completely, my own fault.
No.

Mark,

Mine was 1.25 blocks from my house and I was either in first or had just shifted into second (mind is fuzzy on that one)  so I was doing about 30-35mph and saw a big truck stop at the  T intersection. Thought that we had made eye contact. Shifted my attention back forward and she just started up and ran right into me. She was cited for failure to yield after stop. I have always ridden with caution since the first day I owned a bike, I almost had the T-Bone accident when some young lovely turned left right in front of me. Almost had to put it down, but saved it. Had a DUI run me off a twisty at night back in 75 on the 74K4. and then this......but have had a lot of close calls due to the inattention of cagers. I always preach that everyone out there is trying to kill you and if not, you might just do the job yourself for them....
