Can someone tell me why the "death" thread was closed, it seems someone had a dummy spit and got his own way.. There are always 2 sides to any story and i saw nothing offensive in that post.....curious.

Well apparently for one thing Heffays back on line and deleted some of his posts in that thread, perhaps he has the power to lock the thread when it doesn't go his way?

He was never gone. Still a member here. He just isn't a moderator.

I just don't get it....

...This is a FORUM. I hope it is not someones whole life. Boy would that be messed up. I have disagreed with a lot of post and posters. That doesn't make me right or wrong and that goes the same for the other persons. If I took any post personally, that would mean that I had no self-respect or respect for differing views. GOOD GOD FOLKS ! Get yourselves a life and lets stop acting so childish. Deleting accounts and coming back under new names, dropping mod status, getting upset about the littlest things.

Oh well, guess I'll just have to ignore a lot of this crap.

one trend that is really wearing on my nerves, is when one member(not just Heffey) for whatever reason deletes his/her account, everyone instantly starts trashing him .... some of it in jest ... some not

i really really doubt anyone is that into MJ , thats just ridiculous. to me it's kinda like a friend gets pissed for something little because he's got other #$%* on his mind, and says "#$%* this, i'm gonna go take a walk" and then a few in the room say "oh i never liked him anyway" and then he comes back and they don't say jack.... it's called being twofaced

Heff is a good guy, stop talking about him like he isn't reading this ... cause i'd bet money he will

We may have disagreed a few times and even got into it through PM's but we always understood where each other was coming from.

My comment was aimed at all! Not @ any particular person although I could think of a few. People have to remember what this is and what it is for. Any thread other than the sohc4, other bikes, or tech info is for ENTERTAINMENT. As long as the main purpose is fulfilled in helping people with their bike questions and problems, everything else is just window dressing, frosting on the cake, or engineered time managment.
