Hello all! I'm about to pick up a 1975 CB 750 super sport this weekend. Looks in good shape from pictures, the current owner says it needs carbs cleaned, new throttle cables, new battery...etc. But we'll see if it needs anymore work done to it. 19,000 miles

This will be my first project bike, and 4th bike of my riding career. Which has included a '05 Suzuki SV650S, '08 Triumph Daytona 576, '08 Honda CBR1000RR.

I'm excited to be able to restore a bike to my own specifications and look forward to interacting with all the members here, it seems to be a great and informative forum.

Best,

Hey Icetracer, welcome to the fun. It sounds you have the attitude to get going at it. For folks who are doing customs, I always recommend looking at the Bike of the Month forum and the members' gallery, which is accessible from the site home page. You'll find lots of coolness and inspiration. Post pics when you get a chance. We're a visual bunch.
