I have an early 70's Tracy body for the CB750K that has the hole on the right side cover for the oil cap. I was going to put it on a '74 that I had, but I sold that bike. Now I have a '78 CB750K. Will the body fit the '78 frame?

I think late frame is about 1 1/4 inch longer. Just whip off the tanj & seat and try it..

YES the frame is longer and the seat area i believe is also different. That is why RickyRacer is looking for a
later model frame so he can mock up a different cafe seat i believe.

Seat hinges are different, BUT, they unbolt.

 you may want to run early oil tank to get it to look right.
