You got the wink part, right?  ;) ;)

No.  I didn't see him wink at me.  Do you think maybe he wanted more than to just tell me about my light?   ;)

The wink was for Havoc.
Methinks he is still angry about the unpleasant driver.

I'm not angry, just kind of dumbfounded as to why or what I did.

I'm usually an aggressive person but when I'm on a bike I'm alert and extremely devensive so as to not get killed.

But I also found out that I don't even need to be moving to have a cage try to kill you.

Well, despite a full page of weird accusations at Havoc (when the original story is perfectly clear...), I think the original story is hilarious!!

Too bad you had to lose a muffler to teach the idiot a lesson...

I get the chuckles just thinking about some bouncing exhaust pipe, even if it didn't do any REAL damage, making those loud multiple thumps against his undercarriage as he clattered over it...

And the thought of him RAPIDLY dropping back...  LOL!   :D   :D

And the thought of him slightly panicky as this 3-foot long metal pipe bounces under his car, and him wondering if it'll just roll smoothly by, or if it's going to pogo right up into his floorboards...  LOL

I've got it!!  We could create a James Bond type gadget, where as by the push of a button on the handlebars, we could send an exhaust pipe bounding back at any tailgating cagers.  Think of how awesome that would be, especially with the SOHC4 and its 4 into 4 exhaust. That's 4 count 'em 4 pieces of ammo. Now then, would we want them to be rocket propelled or just have a detonation charge in them? Hmmm, questions, questions........ ;D ;D

I kinda like the marbles idea. And it wouldn't be as expensive as replacing your exhaust.  :o

I notice that NOBODY tailgates when one is riding a two-stroke, especially if the fuel mix is slightly too rich.....

So maybe some kind of oil-feed devices that drips oil into the exhaust...

I knew a guy who rode in Colorado all the time and carried a pocket full of marbles. He wouldnt toss it in the the air at the tailgating car, he'd simply and un-noticeably drop it by his leg and the marble would proceed to put a hole through the cars radiator. Then he would wait about 5 minutes and the car would mysteriously pull over with a smoking engine.

I know I'm a page late, but I would point out to FJ and his stepdad that in most all states there is also a law that says "slower traffic must stay right", and in inquiring to a cop a few years back, this includes people above the speed limit.  The police allow for a difference in almost 10% because of difference in one speedometer versus someone else's, as well as compared to radar.

+1 on hoping for damage to the cager.  You don't seem to be having the best luck lately, Havoc.

Although an unwritten rule of the road, it’s unfortunately not the law in Canada.

I'm down with the marbles/caltrops idea. Just get some jaks and grind the ends down to a point.
