His work area can only hold one bike at a time because his small shop is packed with every known mechanical device. He can make a frame, a threaded bolt, a bearing race, or step outside to his salvage yard and scavange the part you need from hundreds of chasis. The good stuff is locked inside of a few truck-trailers. Dave has built competition motors and bikes, and used to be a MX and flat-track racer. When I take a project to him, usually in the winter, I park my enclosed trailer in his yard so he can store other customers bikes when he is working on mine. Dave is also the President of the Kettle Moraine Riders M/C and sponsers an annual poker run, a hillclimb, and a dualsport ride.
