So I did the ton last night...
« on: June 29, 2009, 03:23:29 PM »
...and it was everything I had hoped it to be. Dang, what a freaking rush. The riding position with the drag bars really helped to direct the air flow over me.

With that said, I wont be doing it very often.  :D

I had my 750 up to 105 indicated, it feels different than 100+ on my cbr.

That said... I don't do it often either.
No matter how fast or how far I rode, I couldn't leave her memory behind.

I have not gone over 100 on my bike, still worried something isn't set up right with the rear...Chain is kinda loose, sprockets look warn, and my tires are old. Once I get those things replaced though... ;D

I got to an indicated 119 on a dead stock 750. It had more RPM left but it ran out of ommphh, which shifted the weight to the front tire, which then soon started to vibrated from incorrect fork oil levels, which soon cured me of wanting to go that fast!  ;D

The ton on a sport bike is boring.

The ton on a sport bike is boring.

Once you get to 70 mph, everything faster than that feels the same.
No matter how fast or how far I rode, I couldn't leave her memory behind.
