Seat Hardware- 1977 Cb550F
« on: June 29, 2009, 01:54:52 AM »
Hey guys,

I've taken my seat apart to it's bones, but I had to destroy the old screws/rivet things for the buckles (PB blaster, impact, drill, dremel, break drill bits, break easy outs, and then success).

Is there anything that comes close as a originalish replacement or a source anyone knows of? If I can't source then I'll probably use either crome or SS socket head cap screws (button head perhaps) with nylon locking nuts.

Thanks

When I was rebuilding my '77 550F seat I found this from Sirius Consolidated:

http://www.siriusconinc.com/seat.asp

Look down close to the bottom of the page for buckle and strap.
I emailed and asked if they would just sell the buckles without the straps and they said would.
