Not to hijack your thread, but I'd be interested if anyone could do the same for a 77 550F. I noticed after reinstalling my carbs, the fuel line from the petcock was nudging up against intake boot, causing the line to slump a bit. I've tried to fix it as best I can, but I think I may have botched something when the carbs went back in.

.............Well hello Pandora! lol, thanks Col!

What i did in the end was;
    My 3/4 carb fuel pipe now lays over the top of the airbox intake boots, the fuel line from 1/2 carb up to the 'T'  which sits directly above the intake for carbs 1/2 is now approx 1 1/4 inches long. The fuel line goes though a hole in the mounting plate (1975 CB 750 F1) and up to the petcock.
  this has eliminated pretty much all of the up/down roundabout magical mystery tour which it was before, as the fuel line is now pretty much "level'  with good turns that dont go back on themselves.

This is fuel line routing on a K6:

The circle is where the line goes through the carb rack.  The square is the "T".

K6
K7
Suzuki GN400 - Ignition fixed!
03 KLR650 - Doesn't do anything very well but.. well.. does everything.
