Vance & Hines exhaust

Is anyone hear using the 4 into 1 VH sidewinder exhaust on their SOHC 750K. Seeing how you like it and does it have good bottom end power like a Kerker?

I looked around a little and didn't actually find one available for these bikes, do you have a link to offer?

Never was able to find a V&H for the SOHC bikes, and am convinced they never made them.
Kerker, Jardine, MAC, Yoshi and a few others exist though.

Fits sohc and dohc?  Does Ken mean with a stock frame? I guess it's time to call him with questions, I'm still unclear whether or not a dohc exhaust system will fit a sohc bike.

An '81 is a DOHC motor. The comment of unavailable was for the pre-79 SOHC motor.

I personally don't know what's available for what, but wanted to clear up that distinction.

I suppose the exhaust ports could be the same. Certainly mounting points on stock frames would differ, I'd think anyway.

Next time I've got the V&H pipe off of my 90's nighthawk I'll have to make a template of the pipe spacing, maybe even mock up my Kerker from my K3 for fun, I've got an 81 750 head lying under my desk at work I could compare spacing with also I suppose... hmmm.

I should really sand the rust off and give it a decent paintjob before it crumbles away at 80mph....

I have seen with my own eyes a V&H sidewinder on a bracket racing SOHC 750. It certainly appeared to be made for it. Someone sold one about 6 weeks ago or so on ebay (a Harley place in Texas I believe).
