Well I think considering the R&D that went into it.... Plus a limited number of final product releases...

$40,000 seems a little bit "normal".

In the same way that kicking my sister out of bed because Queer Eye is on seems "normal".....

on the site there's a vague rendering of what the bike may look like.

in my humble, but irrefutable opinion, it looks like craaap. mcchopper all day long.

I think the ignition units are just mounted either on or right next to the carbs.

Technically they'd be throttle bodies, since it's fuel injected.

I stalled out at the price, before I could worry what wire went where.. ;D

looks  like a better deal to me than the "nEW" Vincent motors..

looks better that Triumph 3 CARtoon bike..

 these should make HP

Of course where we live they will just come up with a new, even higher priced insurance class just for them.. we already have 400-750cc, 750-1000cc, 1000-1300cc, and 1300 and over.. I think that what they are.. plus some smaller ones.. :o

Correct me if I'm wrong, but 4 exhaust pipes?

Four valves per cylinder - in a typical head those two valves would combine to a single port in the head, but in this case each valve has its own port in the head.

Quote
and looks like 3 plugs per cylinder?

With a 6" bore, the flame front of the combustion wouldn't travel quickly enough from one plug throughout the whole air/fuel mixture, and you'd end up with either incomplete combustion or detonation.

A Chevy 454ci big block only has a 4.2" bore. A Ford 460ci has a 4.3" bore. This has a 6" bore - absolutely huge.

Just wanted someone to confirm what I was seeing.

But thank you for the tech lesson. I'll be sure to be extremely dangerous with my limited knowledge.  ;D :D ;)

I'm drooling!  Think we could find a way to fit that into a 350F frame? I've got one that is just waiting to be worked on. ::)

Seriously, that engine alone must weight close to the total weight of some bikes.  BEEEEE U TIFULLLL.
