Staying at the Seneca Lodge-Watkins Glen, N.Y.

The PCA (Porsche club) were holding some "track days".
It's good for those guys to get a dose of reality, now and then.

Watkins Glen brings back memories.  I first went there for the 1978 US Grand Prix which, as I recall, was the Glen in all its craziness.  The racing was great, but the pre-race car burnings and police with tear gas made for a strange Saturday night.

I went later for the IMSA GTP races.  A different era...

Watkins Glen is one of the most friendly venues for spectators in my opinion.

God forces us to live with  non-believers to test our resolve.

I first went out there for the epomyous concert in 1972. I loved the area so much I went back 2 weeks later, what a lovely place. I hope the weather holds for you!
