You know, I think (not for sure) that I have done nearly all that is needed for now. I just got back from getting a new suit (mine don't fit anymore
), shirt, shoes, tie and billfold (I was doing to have to get one of those anyway) from Dillards (well, we have an account there from quite a few years back-over 30yrs, in fact) because it was convenient and not straight out of pocket. Got to look as good as possible (older I get, harder it is to try to look presentable, much less GOOD). Of course, had to drop the suit off to get it tailored.
I just also found out that the preacher (he is on his way back from mission work in Canada and started back early, as soon as he got word about Brenda) has put the word out that because Brenda was the pianist, the piano would not have anyone on it and would be silent Sunday, in remembrance of Brenda. I can't tell you all how set me back. I mean, I think the world of her, but I was married to her. It's awesome to have others feel that way to. After all, my opinion might be considered somewhat biased.
Well, here I sit, at a loss for words and just sitting here thinking about the times we had together and, I'll tell ya, we were GREAT together!
Gotta go.
