That guy could've been on a missile and Charles Bronson would've still caught him.

Great find though.  What movie is that from?

That was Dar Robinson http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dar_Robinson doing the riding.
He was my idol back in the 80's when I was getting into film stunt work.

In my opinion the greatest and most innovative stunt man/ coordinator that ever lived!
He invented the cable drop......... Jump off something incredibly high and have a cable clutch slow you down just feet before you go splat.
It was also used to drop cameras off of buildings, I know because I stood under one 8 times one night ::)

Unfortunately the film industry lost a great one when he died doing another bike stunt and went off a cliff :'(

What's the movie though?

That poor bike.

I don't know why you would even try to run from Charles Bronson... what an idiot.

The only movie at IMDB that I could find that listed both Charles Bronson & Dar Robinson is 'St.Ives' from 1976.

I believe I SAW that movie when it came out.
Charles Bronson had a place not far from me in Brownsville, Vt., but
he wasn't very friendly.

He picked me up in a big Mercedes hitchhiking where 95 meets 495w in MD in 1970 or 71 and drove me down to the Glen Echo exit. He didn't talk much, but was pretty nice to stop and give me the lift. He seemed to know his way around as I recall, and I always wondered if he had a place in the D.C. area.

Changing the bikes certainly makes sense.  Picking up a 750 like that would be much harder.

What gets me is how he ran out and rode right off.  My ride is pretty cold blooded.  It needs to be warmed up before taking off full blast.  I thought that was typical of our 750Fours.  That bike must've been prewarmed.

Great riding.  I could watch lots more of that.

It may depend on the year/tuning/carbs. Both my bikes - CB750K2 and K4 are NOT cold blooded and its turn on and go....its an urban myth that they are ALL cold-blooded.

I saw that film, I think it was called Stone Killers.
Dedicated to Sgt. Howard Bruckner 1950 - 1969. KIA LONG KHANH.
