gauge gurus, slow tach needle
« on: July 02, 2009, 06:35:25 AM »
The tach on my 73 350F rises slowly and drops back down slowly, kind of like me in the morning. The drive cable is good and fits the tach properly. What causes this and can it be fixed? I did a search and couldn't find anything in the forum.

Have you ever cleaned & greased the cable throughout the cable housing?  Might be hanging up in there...
