550 motor in a 350 frame

i have a 350f project goin on right now but i have a chance to buy a 550 motor cheap.  the motor is off of a '75.  will it bolt in a 350f frame?

I have both, and I really doubt it would work without lots of cutting and welding. The 550 motor is quite a bit bigger than the 350. I haven't tried it though.

The 550 lower engine mount lugs are about an inch wider than the 350F frame.

Buy the cheap 550 motor.  Find another buyer willing to pay a little more for the whole motor.  Or part it out and sell the pieces here in the classified section.  Use any excess funds to work on your 350.
