Careful Ed, Harry gets a bit touchy about this subject, so don't make eye contact, just agree with whatever he says and back away slowly.......................  ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Mandatory winter equipment on the Scandinavian steppes. Snot velocity decreases through the moustache, and the snot freezes before it dribbles into your mouth. When you get to your destination, the girls think you are covered in frost, and consider your actions and bravery something of an achievment. 8) Indeed, in all modesty I have had many erotic escapades due to this phenomenon, but of course so have you all so I wont bore you with the details.

Fair enough Harry, that's quite a plausible reason, and I'm sure there's no doubt in anyones mind about your macho ruggedness now, well cleared up. I'm not sure why you prefer carry a handbag though, would you care to elaborate? Cheers, Terry. ;D

You see with the path I have taken in the world there were boundless chances to get a tattoo. I even had uncles that I looked up to that had them. I had one tell me when I was about 10...... If you get one, keep them so they can be hidden. Meaning no forearm, or big ugly neck tattoo's. He said that even if you want to be a tattooed troublemaker in the near furure, one day you will have to be professional. Scenario, the day is screamin hot maybe 90 degrees, and the humidity is way up there to. You meet with some very important clients to sell a expensive house, you want to roll up your sleeves but you don't dare show them that naked lady tattoo on your arm as it will problably kill the whole deal.

I have a rule for tats. I see something I like, or dream one up. I mark it and think of it for awhile, I commit it to memory, and if I am still thinking of it in 30 days then I would get it done.....................

I still have none..... 8)

That's how I decided to get mine, waited 30 days and all.  It was a suggestion from a tattoo artist.  A really good idea, too, to be sure that you are serious about it. 8)

I just read more on this thread, Had no idea I double posted the "Rule" or HOW FUNNY IT GOT, But anyway.... I love these SOHC bikes as well as many other things. I had even considered doing the wedding ring tattoo. A wedding ring is a nice place for burning carb spray to collect and eat your flesh  :o. BTW: if your carb spray does not cause birth defects in atleast 4 states and burns like hell, stop being so cheap and get the real stuff LOL.

I would not at this time, but have considered getting an ANUBIS CYCLE tat (even designed a few). But if she turns into a sinking ship, I will have that reminder everyday of my life till I die, when I wake.

I have heard the old saying that those with tats do not care inked.....There is alot in this to be learned, besides getting hep...

If it helps any, they can be done with inks now that require only one session to remove, rather than one for each color. That is one ouch rather than ouch, ouch ouch... ;)

I got some tat's - just not motorcycle related as of yet.
Have black flames pinstriped in red on my right leg from my ankle to my knee , and the latest
of a 32-34 ford coupe on the inside of my left arm (felt great getting it, let me tell ya..)
More to come , need to get something cycle related next...

I for one never "LOOK" for my next tattoo, but wait to come across something that makes me say to myself , "That would make a wicked tattoo !" This latest one I thought about on and off for over a year before I finally got it done, and it came out perfect. All of my "ink" can be easily concealed if need be, because I don't know where I will be in 10 minutes, let alone ten years...!

Nice tat Angel. It must have taken quite a while to do all of the detail. I have two questions....1. What would something like that cost?   2. Why did you get a K bike when you own 2 F bikes? Just curious!!

Off to be 'tatted' again this Saturday. It's a bonding moment with me and the two sons, plus a niece. They are well (but discreetly) covered. I'm not interested in that amount of coverage but do enjoy looking at a well done tattoo.

I'm having the family motto done in it's original Chinese script.

funny thing about tattoos & cycles.... my buddy builds custom bikes & hotrods for a living and has no tattoos....
His helper/employee has tattoos all over the place - full sleeves etc.   At bike shows etc.  you can stand both of them by the bikes and nobody will approach my buddy to talk about the bikesm - it's as if he's invisible.  Everybody assumes that his heavily tattooed helper is the builder..... funny how that works.
Yep, I'm the kid that figured out how to put things back together...eventually.
