Rear Shocks on our CB550 Questions.......
« on: July 03, 2009, 11:42:34 AM »
When I did a measurement from eye to clevis I got a 12.5 and from end to end I got 13.5. Could anyone confirm these meassurements?

Now here's my question I was told that CB750 and CB900F Rear Shocks are about 14 to 14.5 I believe thats eye to clevis but could be wrong. Is it even worth putting those on as an upgrade? I have a guy who doesnt live to far from me who has a set of both.

Is it worth doing it or will I run into issues?

Progressive lists the 550 and 750 as 13" clevis shocks.

Both are the same part numbers depending on year and k/f models.

900 are a little bigger.
