3 yellow wires that go to the alternator.

so i screwed up and 2 of the 3 wires that i marked the run to the alternator fell of so i don't know in witch order to splice them back together as ...one person says that it wont matter ..but i just wanted to get a few more peoples opinion first. thanks

The 3 yellow wires run down to the stator and become seperate coils for charging etc so no I can't see it mattering as long as you hook them up correctly up by the regulator ie the 3 yellows in line (can't remember if it was the bottom row or the top row but you at least will know that I hope).
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

It doesn't matter, as long as each yellow wire from the stator is connected to a separate yellow wire on the regulator.

thanks guys ....now I can hook all that up felling that things will go good ..now im back to finding out why im blowing my main fuse again ...last year i took my harness off and cleaned all the connectors and thew it back on and didnt have the problem till now ...URRRR...

In that case you may have connector issues due to their age.
http://www.oregonmotorcycleparts.com/connectors.html has replacement connectors to renew our harnesses.

If you removed the harness and treated all the connectors with Electric-grease you should not have to reclean the connectors again?...you did treat all the connectors with Dilectric grease didn't you!

yes i did treat it with the grease, it was just the main fuse part ...its kinda warn out ...so i just sniped the main wires and made a hookup for a blade fuse ...tadaaaaa problem fixed now ...ill half to come up witha blade fuse box that will hook up just like the old style .. thanks for your help guys . and happy 4th ..
