The Sears Tower Skydeck has just opened the new 'ledge'.
Makes me nervous just looking at the pictures....(never been a big fan of heights!)

I'm up for it!

Doesn't the sears tower move like 6 feet side to side at the top with the wind?

Oh man, that makes my hands sweat just thinking about it.

I'd have to do it though.

Yeah Pills, I've always felt that's where they got the idea for the ledge from. Stole it from the Indians, can you imagine that??  :D ;D :D ;D

Wow!  I love that kind of stuff! :o  My favorite part of visiting the Gateway Arch is the clear glass section of the floor at the top, but this is even better. :)  Have you guys ever seen the Grand Canyon Skywalk?

I would like to go out on the "ledge", especially at night when the city is all lit up and spectacular.  I think it's the Hancock building that has an open viewing deck which is really fun to visit.  But the little glass slide-out viewing booth has plenty of an enclosed feeling for me.  If it was open, and just a railing, I'd be freaking.
I think the worst thing about heights would be having to go out on the tips of the antennas that are on the TOP of the Sears Tower to change out the light bulbs!  :o  THAAT would scare the crap out of me.

I could and, probably would, stand on that glass, but I gotta admit that I don't like heights.  I don't have too many issues, but heights is one of them.  Funny, I climbed a radio tower once.   :-\

They have something like that at the CN tower in Toronto and they opened the skywalk over the grand canyon recently too.  None for the faint of heart or those with altitude problems.
