Damn, this is my favorite thread yet.  I grew up and still live in Michigan and  a LOT of this stuff looks real familiar.  I basically spent my free time skateboarding and exploring this kinda stuff when I was younger until the long arm of the law cracked down a few too many times.  Now I am gonna have to buy a decent camera and get busy again.

My bike at the closed Checker Motor plant, Kalamazoo MI.  Checker was the company that made those old school taxi's like you'd see in the movie Taxi Driver or the tv show Taxi.

The stairs that went in all directions, very clever stuff for the day, one line from Bowie was "power of the babe"! ;D

I'll have to watch it again and pay closer attention.  The first time I must have been distracted by the "power of the babe" I was with at the time. ;).

I grew up in west texas, and there are many oilboom towns that are now ghost towns. My favorite and most often visited is Toyah. I dont have any pictures on this computer. but this link is interesting.

I remember several years ago a tornado touched down and destroyed the three or four buildings that made up "downtown." I have always wanted to get into that high school and take pictures but there are still about 10 people that live in the town. As soon as you pull up and start poking around its kind of creepy, they all just stare at you from their front porch. You can get into the basement, but all the entrances are concreted up.

I dont know about many around Austin, where I live now, but I am looking.

I'd really like to do some of the urban exploring that gets done in the northeast.

I like my women a little big. Natural. Now, they shave this and wax that. It's not right. I love natural women. Big women. This trend in women has to go. Bulomia, anorexia. That's just wrong.
